Testimonials

  • “A lifetime of being convinced that I could not sing, combined with deteriorating lung health, brought me to Jon. He has given me the confidence to perform with the Voice Project and his individual lessons are some of the best things in my life! Never critical, always knowledgeable, constructive and caring, Jon, his music has opened up many new doors . He should be available to all on social prescribing.

    Norwich Spoken Word Student

  • Before studying with Jonathan, I struggled with breath support and vocal tension. After six months of lessons, I've gained incredible control over my breathing technique. Jonathan helped me understand the mechanics of proper diaphragmatic breathing and showed me specific exercises that transformed my voice. My high notes are no longer strained, and I can sustain phrases much longer. His technical expertise is remarkable.

    Sarah - Classical Voice Student

  • Jon's methodical approach to teaching voice is exceptional. He broke down complex concepts about vocal resonance and placement into manageable steps. Through his guidance, I discovered how to access my mixed voice safely, something I had struggled with for years. His emphasis on healthy vocal production while building range has been invaluable. After two years of study, I'm singing roles I never thought possible.
